Down Under in Harmony
with Yana Burova
International Violinist & Educator
I have been a professional violinist for as long as I can remember — perhaps since my very first words. My lifelong devotion to music has shaped a remarkable journey, taking me across stages, countries, and experiences that have defined my artistic soul.
After 26 inspiring years in London, I now call the beautiful city of Perth my new home, where I hope to weave fresh connections and continue sharing my passion. I believe that the language of music transcends borders — it speaks to every heart. Whether performing or teaching, my greatest joy lies in communicating emotion, energy, and beauty through every note I play.
Yana Burova - International Violinist - has relocated to Perth Australia
Upcoming Concert - November 23rd
I warmly invite you to join Jonathan Bradley and me on a romantic musical journey, where together we explore and share our interpretation of some of the greatest composers in history.
Working with Jonathan has been an absolute joy — a reminder that true musical communication knows no boundaries. Even when two musicians have only just met, music has the power to create instant understanding and connection. Through this shared language, layers of depth and emotion unfold effortlessly, and we hope to share that same connection with our audience.

MetSO Distinguished Conductor Bruce Herriman with MetSO esteemed Guest Artist / Violinist Yana Burova - Perth, October 2025
I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining MetSO for the opening concert of their 2026 Season. This lovely photo of Conductor Bruce Herriman and me was taken during a recent planning morning — a wonderfully civilised affair over coffee, great conversation, and plenty of musical inspiration!
During our meeting, we explored a wide range of violin repertoire and are delighted to share that we’ve finally chosen the concerto for my upcoming performance — though we’ll keep that as a little surprise for now.
More details about my appearance with MetSO on Sunday, March 29th, will be revealed soon. Stay tuned for what promises to be a truly special start to the season!
