The Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra (MetSO) invites young West Australian instrumentalists, vocalists and composers to audition for the opportunity to perform as soloists, or have their work performed during the MetSO 2027 Concert Series.
If you can perform it with a Symphony Orchestra we want to hear from you - from Baroque to Broadway!
The successful applicants will perform a solo or group work during MetSO’s 2027 50th Anniversary - Stirling Symphonic Concert Series.
Entries open : September 2026 - Open
Entries close : 14th December 2026
MYA Auditions 2027 open to WA Artists under 30 years of age.
Entries by YouTube video submission - for performers.

N.B. Those artists that have been successful twice (i.e. in two different intake years) via our MYA entry pathway, may be invited to become Artists in Residence with the Orchestra.
