If under 18 - please make sure you have obtained parental/guardian consent before proceeding with this application.

  • Your parent/guardian must first read the MYA Rules and Conditions

  • Download the Permission Form

  • Then please send the signed form to team@metsoperth.org

  • If entering as part of an Ensemble - we require separate Permission Forms for each entrant under 18.

Please make sure you have everything prepared and ready before moving onto the online application steps e.g.

  • You have read and complied with all MYA Rules and Conditions

  • You have resolved any queries if in doubt - via the website Contact page, or by emailing team@metsoperth.org

  • You have sent through parent/guardian Permission Form(s) if required

  • You have prepared your online video submission and loaded it to YouTube.

  • You have assembled all other necessary repertoire information, contact information etc.

N.B. It is recommended that you trial / walk through the steps of the final application process (below) to familiarise yourself with what is needed.

It is fine to do as many trial runs as you like, and simply not proceed to final payment.

However, please keep in mind it is not possible to “save” your application form between trial sessions.

When you are ready to finalise your application - select the appropriate application pathway below.

This will take you through to the MYA online application form.

N.B. The MetSO website uses the Squarespace secure form management / payment system.

Instructions :

  1. Choose your application type (below)

  2. Leave the QUANTITY field at 1 (only one application may be made at a time)

  3. Select “ADD TO CART” to activate the “pop-up” online application form.

  4. Follow the instructions on the application form to fill in the required information.

  5. You will now have the bundled application form and application fee in your “CART”.

  6. Select “CART” (found top menu of every page) - where you can review and edit your application information.

  7. When you are ready - proceed to CHECKOUT for credit card payment to finalise your application.
